After putting in an offer for that condo last week we found out the complex does not allow birds. We knew the complex did not allow animals but we never thought our bird would be a problem. We were surprised to discover that their Home Owners Association handbook actually states "no birds." So we had to withdraw our offer.
We were really disappointed because we liked this condo a lot. It was in a good location in Holladay and it had a lot of the things we are looking for. But, we could never give up our bird and any place that won't let us live with him is not the place for us.
So, back to the drawing board. In a very strange turn of events we may have found another place! This just happened yesterday so it's still pretty new but I wouldn't be surprised if we go for it with this other condo. I will fill you in on all the details once things move along a little more.
