Happy Homecoming!

This week has been Homecoming Week at the University of Utah. Hopefully the game will give us a happy ending to the week but you never know! We are playing Utah State so you would think we would come up with a win but with this team it's always unpredictable!

Either way we will be there cheering!!!

Gossip Girl

Well, I've found my new T.V. show for the season. Every fall there are so many new shows that come out but I've found my new guilty pleasure. It's called "Gossip Girl" and it's on Wednesday nights.

The show is just like "The O.C." which I loved until the writing turned horrible! The clothes are gorgeous and soooo expensive!!

It's just another "teen" show that leads me to wonder "why didn't the boys look like that when I was in high school?" :)

St. George/Las Vegas

Even though our trip didn't have the end result we were hoping for, we still had a lot of fun!!! We slept in, played tennis, relaxed by the pool, went to dinner and of course we shopped!! Here are some photos of our weekend.

They finally replaced the diving board at our condo! The boys had a lot of fun doing flips and we got a lot of really funny photos! Here's Marcus throwing a football to James while he is doing a flip.

Here we are at the Utah Tailgate and the football game. As you can see we are all very happy because these pictures were taken before the game. It's really hard to watch the best football game of your life one week and then watch the worst game of your life the next week. We are really frustrated with this Utah football team and now we don't know what the rest of the season will look like. UGH!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe it?!!? Our Utah football team beat #11 UCLA on Saturday. Absolutely no one saw this coming and our team looked awesome! They shuffled players around, they used trick plays, the defense looked amazing, etc. It was one of the funnest football games I have ever been to!!!!!!!!

A lot of the students rushed the field after we won but we stayed in our seats. It was really cool to see the massive group of players and students on the field!

Next up is UNLV and we will be in Vegas cheering them on!!! We are headed to St. George for a few days and then we will go to Vegas on Saturday to watch the Utes! We are very excited for the rest of the season!

Hogle Zoo

I took Friday afternoon off work so Jesse and I could actually go on a date. We have been on-call for five days straight so that doesn't leave any time for date nights. We took a trip to Hogle Zoo and it was really fun! The zoo has changed so much since I was little; it is much nicer now!!

Here's the white alligator. It is really creepy looking! It looks like he would glow in the dark!

Tomorrow is the second home game of the season! The Utes are taking on UCLA and it will be a tough game. Our team is battered and broken but they are not giving up; and neither are we!!! We will be there screaming loud and proud!

Utah State Fair

Last night we went to the fair with my family. It was a lot of fun!!

The goats were our favorite! They were really cute. This picture of Marcus makes me laugh!!

If you haven't been to the fair I definitely recommend you go! It is an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else!!!

FIRST HOME GAME CON'T!!!!!

Even though the action on the field wasn't that exciting we had a good time on Saturday! It's easy to get discouraged but we are definitely NOT fair-weather fans!!! We will continue to cheer on our team all season long!

P.S. Even though it doesn't look like it, Jesse is always next to me during these games! My goal this season is to get some photos with both of us in them! :)

FIRST HOME GAME!!!

Tomorrow is the first home game of the season! Even after the tough loss on Thursday night we are so excited to be back in the stadium!

I'm hoping for a fun season and we are looking forward to screaming our heads off at every game!!!

Busy Week

For Labor Day we went to my family's cabin. Sadly I was very lazy and didn't take any photos but we had a lot of fun. We even saw two moose which was definitely the highlight.

I am very busy at work this week; we are distributing all the football tickets to MUSS members this week and I am in charge. That means over 4,000 students will be coming into the Alumni House to pick up their football tickets. I get to deal with all of the problems and complaints so it's a stressful week.

So consequently I probably won't be able to post anything this week!! But I will hopefully find time to look at all of your blogs so keep updating!!
